Hi,

Gerd reported that when attempting to print, NOA respectively OpenOffice.org seems to hang.

I know wou don't have a Mac, Markus, is there a trick and did anybody else ever succeeded printing with NOA on a MAC?

If I use ITextDocument.print(); OpenOffice hangs. I think, it's during creating the printer dialog.

But if I click the PRINT button in the Open Office toolbar, I can print a document.

So maybe this could be a workaround:
Creating a script in the Open Office document, which prints the current document.

Is it possible with NOA to create and run scripts in a document ?

both of you might try this one:

doc.getFrame().getDispatch(GlobalCommands.PRINT_DOCUMENT_DIRECT).dispatch();
