I had the impression the openoffice.org autodetection does not look for installations in /usr/lib/openoffice, which is at least kubuntu64, probably kubuntu32 and maybe ubuntu default, is this possible/could this be amended?

Hi Jochen,
this is just because you use the pre-release of NOA 2.2.3. In NOA 2.2.2 every subfolder of /opt and /usr is searched. Since this takes a long long time it was changed in the pre-release.
The final version will only look in:
/opt
/opt/levelonefolder
/opt/levelonefolder/leveltwofolder
and
/usr
/usr/levelonefolder
/usr/levelonefolder/leveltwofolder

So only two sublevel are looked up to provide a faster search.
