I run ubuntu karmic koal 64 bit version. I can not open oo documents. When I try to open a .odt-file.

The following error message occurs:

Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 14.1-b02, mixed mode)

Hi Martin,

since we can not test 64bit, I have no clue on what this could be, sorry. The 64bit libnativeview.so was provided py the community, and it work for multiple user.

I get the same thing in Helios, also with Koala64. Java is
java version "1.6.0_18"

Why can't you test 64bit? There are free virtual machines and free 64bit linux to put on them, that's how I run Linux, even on top of 32bit Windows.

Regarding testing 64bit system. Our systems do not support 64bit guests. We tested this with the tool from vmware: http://downloads.vmware.com/d/details/processor_check_5_5_dt/dCpiQGhkYmRAZQ==

This might also be resolved with the next NOA4e version which uses the new NOA plugin.
It will be released soon.
