Hello,
I am trying to create a new OO Base document. But after I enter the folder and the name of the document and press Finish, I get an internal error:
URL Seems to be an unsupported one.
The file is actually created by the plugin and is not corrupt (I can open it with OO Base application). I get the same error when I try to open an already existing ODB file. So most probably the issue is with opening the files.
Steps to reproduce:
- Open eclipse with the NOA plugin and press Ctrl-N. The New dialog is open
- Select OpenOffice.org -> Base document
- Enter sample folder (under an existing project) and sample name
- Press the finish button

Changed issue state:
unconfirmed → open
Could you test it with latest version updating using the update site?
I can not reproduce the problem although I followed exactly your steps.

This issue still occurs on 2.0.13!
URL seems to be an unsupported one. The file is created, yet the created file can not be opened. If I import an openoffice file created using the Program itself opening it within Eclipse, however, works.
My Environment:
Eclipse IDE for Java Developers
Build id: 20100218-1602
Ubuntu 9.10
Is there any news on this?
THANK YOU!
